We’ve been going about it all wrong. Ensure your employees are a true match for the job description.

Episode Transcript

Today, we have a question: why is organizing people such a pain? Let me tell you why. Because we have been thinking about how to administer people the wrong way, the old way. The right way is to understand the needs you have, then go and make sure and spend time with the person you want to hire, or the person who is going to do the job, and make sure that this person fits the job. Why is that important? Because this person is going to reveal to you what their talents, their skills, and their passions are. And if they don’t align with the job, guess what? You are never going to get maximum output both from the job and from the person, and the person is never going to be fulfilled. So, think about how you organize people differently and you’ll get different results. Until next time, keep innovating!
