Video Transcript:
One of the most powerful elements of the Innovation Fitness™ Report is that it shows you how you contribute to innovation. So, for example, we actually show—this is a graph for somebody who is actually a superior performer in the organization. But, if you asked this person before they took the assessment they would say, “I like doing that, I like doing that”—they’re not very sure how they contribute. But now, based on this report, you can see they contribute to the second stage.
Now, let’s talk about the Six Stages of Innovation. We believe that successful innovation follows a scientific approach that involves six stages: Identify, Define, Develop, Verify, Deploy, and Scale. All those require different talents, skills, passions to execute to the maximum. So, for you to know where you contribute, you take the assessment. In this case, this person is an excellent Definer. She is all about structure. So, you may have the same person, you’ve been telling them, “Give me ideas.” That is her lowest stage! But if you tell her, “Now I have ideas, I have thoughts, help me create structure”—that, she thrives. Or he thrives. The point here is, the Innovation Fitness™ Report is able to tell you exactly how and where you contribute. Stop wondering. Just take the assessment.
