How do you get on the right track for big innovations? According to innovation expert Ron Price, it takes consistent work every day to make the most of your big ideas.

Episode Transcript:
What is the pathway to big, disruptive innovations? It’s really two tracks. The first track is learning how to innovate: day by day, week by week, month by month, and year by year. Learning how to recognize where innovation can make a big difference. The second track is identifying big problems and big dreams. The great innovators didn’t start as great innovators. They built their innovation muscle by learning step by step what it means to identify problems, to create potential solutions, to test those solutions, and then discover the ones that can make a big difference. And then one day, or month, or year, having invested all of their time in learning how to innovate—a big idea drops out of the sky. A big problem confronts them squarely and, all of a sudden, all the work they’ve done comes together and they’re ready to be a great innovator. So let’s keep innovating!
